Mechanism of Action of Super Digestive Enzymes

There is different types of now digestive enzymes specificity. These are
i.              Absolute specificity
ii.            Group specificity
iii.           Linkage specificity
Enzymes that exhibit absolute specificity can only catalyze a type of reaction for a single substrate. An example of this enzyme is urease, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea.
Enzymes that exhibit group specificity catalyze one type of reaction for a group of the similar substrate. An example is a hexokinase that adds a phosphate group to hexoses. Hexoses are sugar with six-carbon backbone.

Enzymes that exhibit linkage specificity catalyze a type of reaction for a specific bond. The digestive enzyme chymotrypsin catalyzes the hydrolysis of peptide bonds. To get more information visit #super digestive enzymes
