Water
is a universal solvent. It is very abundant in most areas of the world. Its
extreme abundance has led to its exploration for various purposes. Water is
used for both domestically, commercially and industrially, to meet several
needs. The very most important use of water is drinking. It has proved that
humans can’t survive for a few days without water whereas he can survive
several days without food. Some other home uses of water are for diverse washing purposes, put in an aquarium for ornaments etc. one important use
of water by man is for sports and recreation. This use of water includes the
usual swimming and different diving games.
