Red bristles identify an Ultra Soft head…designed for 1st time users, and users with sensitive teeth and/or gums. These brushes should be used when you initially start using 30 Second Smile.
Light-blue bristles identify our Standard heads - delivering less sensitive users an effective cleaning while remaining gentle. Our Standard heads also give Extra Reach with an extra row of bristles, enabling users with gum recession (or larger teeth) to still clean the gum-line. Users without recession report superior gum stimulation as a result of the extra row of bristles reaching higher on the gums.
Kids should use the brush head specifically designed for kids. The kids version is a slightly smaller, Ultra Soft brush head.
